Windows Media Encoder Studio Edition Beta

|

There's a new tool on the block and it's name is Windows Media Encoder Studio Edition. This new tool is available for free in beta form from Microsoft's website. The tool currently provides many nice features for on-demand streaming and compression for HD-DVD. Right now it does not support live streaming but this tools is amazing.

Windows Media Encoder Studio Edition allows users the ability to edit a small simple sequence of videos. For example if you wanted an ad to play prior to your main video you can ad your ad and your main video in the project timeline to bring them together in one single video. Users can also trim clips and encode to the VC-1 codec. The product comes with a host of advanced compression features that will make encoding with VC-1 amazing.

Microsoft is excited about hearing comments and feedback on the Windows Media Encoder Studio Edition beta.
