These USB keyboards reveal what each key does in the editing software of your choice.
Each keyboard is outfitted with specially-molded keys that are a perfect match to the original, factory keys. Each key displays the specific function of that key in your editing software, and color-coded groups of keys help you easily figure out which keys do similar things.
For example, in the Final Cut layout, all of the jog/shuttle controls are colored blue, while all of the tool controls are colored salmon. If you didn't know that you could use the J, K, and L keys for playback control, you could figure that out easily by noticing that they're the same color as, say, the left and right arrow keys.
The keyboard uses a standard USB connection and has 2 additional USB ports built in. It doesn't require any drivers or additional software, and it will work with any PC or Mac as a regular keyboard.
