Creating Avid Marquee title on a path
Avid Marquee is an incredible 3D titling program. Here are the steps to create a 3D title that follows a path.
Step 1: Navigate to the menu at the top of the screen and choose Toolsets > Expert Animation. Draw a shape with the shape tool.
Click on the Shape tool within the Marquee tool palette. Click in the Canvas area to draw a path that you want your title to follow.
Step 2:

Then navigate to the menu bar at the top of the screen and select the Object Menu > Convert Shape to Path.
Step 3: Click on the Text Tool and type your text on the path.

Step 5: Convert the path to a crawl. With the text tool still activated. Right click on the text path, and choose Motion > Crawl from the pop-up contextual menu.
Step 6: Re-Select the text object with the Edit Tool within the Marquee toolbar.
Step 7
Step 8: Place the position indicator at the front of the timeline. Click on the Animation Mode button within the Marquee tool palette.

Step 9: Navigate to the text properties tab, and adjust the scroll path to a positive value. You should see the text object move across the path as you adjust the values.

Step 10: Place the position indicator towards the end of the timeline, and adjust the scroll position back to 0. That should do it.
