Avid Editing and Effects Courses
This 5 day training class is an in-depth training course covering the major editing techniques of Avid Xpress or Media Composer. The class progresses through all the phases of creating a project, including inputting source footage, assembling and trimming sequences, editing audio, creating titles, and outputting a finished program. Additional topics include: creating multilayered effects, keyframing effects, creating effect templates, and nesting layers. Class time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice. The course is designed for video editors and developers of interactive media. 
Avid Color Correction course - Avid 239
This 2 day course is designed for the intermediate user, explains how to color correct a sequence on Avid Media Composer and Avid Xpress Pro. The editor will learn how to color correct each shot in a sequence, use Avid's internal video scopes, make sure the color and luminance are within safe broadcast limits, and create a treatment for an entire sequence. Class time is divided between demonstration and hands-on practice.
