Abacast, Inc., a leader in real-time streaming solutions has announced record revenue growth for 2008.  Growth over 2007 revenues came in at 38%, significantly exceeding the CDN industry average growth rate of approximately 28%.

Revenue growth was consistent across the full suite of Abacast's services including unicast and peer-assisted streaming, revenue generation services such as Ad Injection Service, and user experience enhancements via Abacast Premier and Custom Players.  Notably, hybrid and peer-assisted streaming revenue comprised almost 40% of Abacast's total revenue, demonstrating the clear value proposition of a hybrid CDN solution.
