Sorenson Media announced its Sorenson Squeeze 5 application received the 2008 Vanguard Award from Digital Content Producer magazine. Fourteen video-related products were featured in the December issue of the magazine and online at digitalcontentproducer.com. Sorenson Squeeze 5 was the only video encoding software recognized by the judges.

Sorenson Media  announced its Sorenson Squeeze application won the 2008 Streaming Media magazine Readers' Choice Award for Encoding Software. This is the second year in a row Sorenson Squeeze has won the top prize in its category.
