Encoding H.264 downloadable streaming video with Episode Encoder Pro is simple to
do. For this tutorial weʼll take a DV.mov source �le that is 720 x 480 and 29.97 frames
per second captured from an analog source.  The source ï¬?le has the DV/DVCPro Codec for video with PCM for audio.



To get started with encoding this �le for downloadable streaming for high broadband
users in Episode Encoder Pro, we �rst need to select our source �le.



Next, drag it to the Batch area where Drag Source is displayed



Now your source ï¬?le can been seen in the batch.  You can also drag the video ï¬?le
directly to the Batch from a folder or the desktop.   Let me talk a little about our source
before we move forward.  If you select the source and click the Enter button on your
keyboard a preview of the video appears. 

Downloadable Streaming with Sorenson Squeeze and Dreamweaver is very common.  Today we'll show you how to encode a Real Media video with Sorenson Squeeze and then author that video in Dreamweaver with a RAM file.  RAM files are beneficial to use because you can hide the absolute path to the video file on your Server.  Let's begin. 



Open up Sorenson Squeeze and click the Import File button to bring your source files into Squeeze.



When you click the Import File button you'll see a dialog window open up. Select your file and click the open button.  For this tutorial I'll select the Step10DraggingaPreset.mov file and click the Open button.

The Consumer Electronics Association launched "30 Days of Innovation: The Countdown to CES," a new program marking 30 days until the start of the 2009 International CES by highlighting each day one of the more than 300 innovative companies that are exhibiting for the first time this year. German MPEG-4 video coding expert dicas will add a new product to the successful dicas2000 hardware series at the beginning of next week. The dicas2020 is a multi-format encoder that enables broadcasters, content providers and satellite operators to deliver one input channel of video and audio simultaneously to various end-user applications such as set-top boxes, PCs, broadcast-quality decoders, handheld devices and Flash Players.

On2 Technologies provides a video compression tool called Flix Publisher for simple browser-based encoding via a web browser.  Flix Publisher a is a fully customizable SDK for creating browser-based encoding and publishing solutions that allow users to encode live or file-based VP6-E and VP6-S FLV video directly on a  web pages.

Digital Rapids -- a leading developer of solutions for bringing television, video and movie content to the latest generation of viewing devices -- unveiled new real-time, high definition encoding capabilities for the Digital Rapids Studio AVC Encoder software. Digital Rapids has been selected to provide media encoding, transcoding and streaming systems to NBC for the network's Internet coverage of the 2008 Olympic Games from Beijing, China, August 8-24. The announcement was made by Rab Mukraj, Director of Digital Media Delivery at NBC Universal and Brick Eksten, President of Digital Rapids Corporation.
