Wirecast Provides Multi-camera Webcasting Capabilities
Wirecast by Vara Software is a webcasting production suite through a software interface. This tool allows broadcasters, organizations or individuals the ability to have multiple layers of video that include background, titles, video, chroma key and blue screen. The newest version for Mac OS X, Wirecast 2.5, allows the capability to have multiple DV camera input. Depending on the configurations 3 DV camera inputs can be achieved.
The Wirecast software also provides an easy to use software interface and the ability to broadcast direct to web using a Quicktime Streaming (for the Mac) or Windows Media Streaming (for the PC). You can also record direct to disk using QuickTime DV. There is a fully functional version of the software available on the Vara Software website.
