Monitoring Streaming Tracks in QuickTime Pro
All video editors and multimedia professionals need to have QuickTime Pro available at their displosal for format conversion and other cool functions that help with multimedia. Here's a good reason to upgrade to QuickTime Pro. In QuickTime Pro you can go to the Window drop-down menu and select Show Movie Properties under the Windows drop-down menu.

You can then go to the Streaming Track under the Statistics tab which will show you the Current, Average and Maximum bit rate being used. You can also see the Current, Average and Maximum amount of Packet Loss of your streaming videos on your QuickTime Streaming Server or Helix Universal Server. Lastly, from the Statistics tab you can see the Current, Average nd Maximum Buffer Size. There are many more features in the Show Movie Properties section.
With QuickTime streaming being more popular this feature would be very helpful to use because it makes it very easy to monitor the success of your QuickTime, MPEG-4, H.264 and Streaming Videos. You can also monitor your QuickTime Live Streams in the same manner.
