Matching Sequence Clips With Viewer Window Files In FCP

|

While in the midst of building a large timeline, one quick and easy way to see if you have already used a clip within your sequence is to see if you can match a sequence clip with the media file you have loaded into the Viewer before you use it.

1 With your sequence open in the timeline, Open a clip from the Browser into the Viewer window and park on a frame that you want to see if there is a duplicate of in the timeline.

2 You can either press F or go to View > Match Frame > Master Clip.
