DVD Studio Pro Customized Menus

|

Customized menus in DVD Studio Pro are extremely easy. You can produce them with as little as two jpeg images. Simply prepare your background image in Photoshop, or export a still image from Final Cut Pro, and then create a overlay for your background. They will look like this:

First set the background image onto your menu, and then drag the overlay over the menu until a menu pops up. Drag down to the Set Overlay option and release. At this point you won’t see any difference. Now all you need to do is create your buttons by holding down the left mouse button and dragging over the area you want your button to be. As you drag you will see the overlay appear.

If you select a button and go to the colors tab of the inspector, you can change the color and opacity of the overlay. The buttons are ready to be connected to whatever they represent.
