Deselecting One Item Within A Group Selection in FCP

You would be surprised how a procedure that may seem so elementary can trip up a beginning editor. During my travels in discussion forums, there have been several ocassions where someone has selected a large number of clips and wanted to deselect maybe two or three of them. Well, to those who may be wondering how to do this, it's a very simply process.

Deselecting an Item in a Group Selection

1 Choose the Selection tool from within the tool box (the first tool in the shape of an arrow).

2 Command-click on the clip, in the row of selected clips, that you wish to deselect. That clip clip has now been deselected.
