Tolbert is associate producer and senior editor for Charlotte Bobcats TV, a division of Bobcats Sports and Entertainment, which produces all of the television programming for the Bobcats franchise. Along with three production assistants and three interns, Tolbert produces, edits, and designs a range of pieces, including team promos, teasers, Jumbotron video, and feature stories for the weekly half-hour Bobcats Insider show and for pre-game shows throughout the six-month season. A self-professed editing speed junkie, Tolbert makes his living negotiating near impossible deadlines, often creating edited pieces in a matter of hours. He believes that the closer it gets to air time, the more creative he becomes. "I have learned to love the pressure, and my staff and I rise to the occasion due to the Avid editing systems we rely on,"says Tolbert."We literally live or die on the reliability of our Avid systems. I can’t imagine doing my job any other way."
