After Effects Media Management
If you are new to After Effects or a seasoned pro you know that managing your media is very important. Being able to locate you projects, media and renders is very critical to not only being efficient but also to simply find your work. I have found the best workflow is to set yourself up for success. The first thing I do before starting any project is make folders for each category. I make a project folder, media folder, and a renders folder. Then I put these folders inside a folder named after the project. So, for example, if I am working on a Crestliner Boat commercial, I would name the top folder Crestliner and then put my three other folders inside.
