3. Hands-on Compression with Sorenson Squeeze Compression Suite

Students will learn basic and advanced tips for encoding their videos with Sorenson Squeeze Compression Suite. Students will learn advanced tips for compressing Quicktime, MPEG-4, Windows Media, Real Media and Flash videos using Sorenson Squeeze. Students will also learn how to capture video, create watch folders, trim videos, customize format compression settings, and customize filter settings. Students will work hands-on with Episode Pro to compress 640 x 480 H.264 video for the Video iPod and encode 3GPP and 3GPP2 videos for Mobile Devices. Students will learn tips for getting optimal quality with Episode for encoding to other popular streaming formats such as Windows Media, Quicktime, Real Media and Flash. Students will also learn about the capabilities of using Episode Pro for mapping Surrround Sound channels and how this tool takes advantage of Multi-thread workstations for faster video and audio compression.
