If you are a Media Composer or Final Cut Pro editor and you use a MacBook Pro to edit with, you may find it interesting that you can close the screen on your Laptop and still continue to work.

This actually improves the performance of the MacBook Pro because it now only has to drive an external screen instead of it's own LCD screen.  Plus, it prevents the mouse cursor from moving off your larger screen, back onto your Laptop.

In this video you can see how I hook up a Mac Air using a mini Display Port adapter to Dual Link DVI in order to drive the screen at 2650 x 1600

Here's a short tutorial on combining an animated mask along with track data to make it look a skateboarder is jumping through a ring of fire.

Just a quick side note: You could map the position of the fire ring using four tracking points, which would provide for accurate tracking information in 3D perpsective.  However, for the sake of this tutorial, the effect still looks cool using a single tracker.
