Removing audio pops in Final Cut Pro
SoundTrack Pro has some great built in features for removing audio drop-outs or pops from individual clips. You can send clips directly from Final Cut Pro without having to export and re-import the media.

You can send clips from Final Cut Pro into SoundTrack Pro to fix common problems, such as audio interference or audio pops.
Listen to this clip.
If I turn on the audio waveform, you'll notice there is some audio interference or pops embedded within the audiophile.
To fix this, right click on the clip in the sequence that needs to be fixed.
Choose send to SoundTrack Pro Audio File Project.
Click the save button to save a new reference SoundTrack Pro file.
In SoundTrack Pro highlight the area that needs to be fixed.
Click on the Analysis tab within the left window pane.
Turn on the checkbox for clicks and pops.
Click the Analyze button.
SoundTrack Pro will give a recommended list of problem areas to fix.
In this example, I'll click Fix All
Okay, at first glance, that's pretty good.
However, you can clearly see there's two audio pops it didn't get the first time around.
That's okay, I'll just re-highlight the area and fix the problems one more time.
Okay, fantastic! That audio pops have now been removed.
To update the Final Cut Pro sequence, simply select save from the File menu.
Then press the okay button.
If you go back to Final Cut Pro, you can see the clip has been repaired.
