Color Correcting Application Coming for iPad

Act Focused currently has in development a new color correcting application specifically made for the iPad, due to be released early this summer.  Gradiest, the new app, will allow you to control the color corrections in Cineform's First Light, just as you would with a traditional hardware controller.  They're also currently working on compatibility with other color correction programs such as Apple Color

gradiest_iPad.gifIs it practical to color correct without tactile feedback?  According to Act Focused, yes; "interactions are different without buttons and knobs, but the benefits of a digital interface probably outweigh the drawbacks for many colorists.  A Multi-touch interface is more sensitive than hardware devices can be, and most importantly, more adaptive to your needs."
