Wowza Media Systems, a software company solely focused on media server
software, and Sun Microsystems, Inc. announced
that ZON Multimedia,
Portugal's largest triple-play operator with more than 1.5 million
subscribers, has deployed a Flash video streaming solution utilizing
Wowza's #1-rated Wowza Media Server Pro software on Sun
servers. The solution enables ZON customers to watch streaming movie
trailers online before purchasing them via cable.
