Abacast Announces New Management Appointments

Abacast announces the appointment of John Morris and Jim Kott as Co-presidents and Kristy Surovic as VP, Administration. John Morris has been with Abacast since April 2001. He was a key member of the Company's initial technology development team, ultimately promoted to the position of VP Engineering and Chief Technology Officer. He will continue to serve in that position.

Jim Kott, formerly an officer at Tukati before that company was acquired by Abacast in mid-2008, has been leading the Company's marketing, sales administration and product management functions since joining Abacast. Jim will continue to serve as VP, Sales, Marketing and Product Management.

Kristy Surovic has been appointed to VP, Administration. Kristy has headed the Company's administrative functions since joining Abacast in early 2007.

"Our hybrid CDN technology has been the cornerstone of Abacast's success to date," said John Morris, "and I look forward to helping to direct the company in extending our hybrid CDN leadership." Jim Kott added, "I continue to be excited in moving Abacast's industry-leading hybrid CDN and rich media advertising solutions further into the online radio, Internet TV, and Enterprise markets."

The above Abacast officers are also appointed to the Abacast Executive Committee. The other members of Executive Committee are Abacast independent directors Rob Green and John Fluke. Rob Green joined the Abacast board in November 2007 as the board's Market Expert and will continue to advise the Company's Business Development function. John Fluke has been Abacast's non-executive Chairman of the Board since 2004 and will continue to provide general business advice to the Company's management team.

Each of these officers has been transitioning into the roles that these appointments now formalize since Mike King tendered his resignation on November 4, 2008 to pursue other opportunities. The Company expresses its deep appreciation for Mike King's leadership from the months prior to his official appointment as Abacast's General Manager on August 4, 2004 through his most recent role as Abacast's President. I've enjoyed leading Abacast over the last five years," said departing President Michael King. "I'm leaving Abacast in solid financial condition and above industry average growth, and I'm proud of the way the company pulled together to accomplish all that we have."
