Steve Gross is a certified Google SketchUp trainer who is also an award winning film maker. He has a degree in Architectural design from the University of Texas. After graduating he quickly realized the limitations of traditional architecture and the fast changing technology and 3D design. He soon left architecture and began designing scenic projects for MTV/Nickelodeon Studios and Universal Studios Creative, using SketchUp as a primary 3D design modeling program to create quick schematic design proposals, photo realistic renderings and presentation animations.
Steve has used Google SketchUp on major projects including the new Wizarding World of Harry Potter Theme Park, and the new Transformers theme park ride at Universal Studios Hollywood.
Steve also travel's with a portable classroom that is used for large groups of individuals who want to learn SketchUp. The Federal Law Enforcement Training Center recently acquired the services of GeniusDV to teach a large group on-site.
Steve brings all of his creative talent to GeniusDV and offers an amazing 2 day hands-on Sketchup training course that incporporates lessons and concepts from Trimble's official certified training.
