         <title>John Lynn</title>

<p>John has a Masters Degree at the prestigious Florida State Film School that is now one of the top 5 film schools in the country. He has worked on a variety of national television shows, and has traveled the country teaching film and video editing. High profile agencies such as NASA, Lockheed Martin, MTV, the U.S. Army, and other film/video organizations have praised his training expertise. John is one of a very select few that is an active certified Avid and Final Cut Pro instructor.</p>
<p>He is one of only 5 people (in the world) that is certified for both Avid Xpress and Avid Adrenaline. He's trained over 1/3 of all the Avid certified users (out of 60) in the world. He also produced the very first Avid Authorized Training DVD for Avid Technology. <img height="95" hspace="5" src="http://www.geniusdv.com/graphics/classphotos/weva.gif" width="127" align="left" vspace="5" /><br /><br />John is available for hire for on-site consultation regarding training and or support on Avid or Final Cut Pro software products.</p>]]></description>

         <title>Brett Snell</title>

 Brett graduated from the prestigious Ringling School of Art and Design, majoring in graphic design. These skills led him to work as a designer and animator. He is Co-Owner of his own broadcast design firm and has managed the firm from start-up to development of over 20 high end clients. His extensive knowledge in the field of digital video production help him focus on low-cost broadcast and industrial productions. He is an expert at live action direction, editing, story concept, 2D/3D animation, compositing and design. He recently acquired the Bronze award from the Broadcast Design Association. 

In addition to producing various DVD projects, his latest endeavor includes one of the first extracation training DVDs that he produced, edited and authored from the ground up using Apple's DVD Studio Pro 2. He is also a certified Final Cut Pro expert and trainer for GeniusDV.]]></description>

         <title>Jack Cottle</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<img src="http://www.geniusdv.com/instructors/jack_cottle.gif" alt="jack_cottle" width="180" height="120"  align="left" hspace="5" vspace="5"/>Jack received his Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree (BFA) in Graphic Design from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC. He has created graphics and animation for clients such as The Learning Channel, Siemens Medical, and Disney Cruise Lines. His skills range from illustration, compositing, and broadcast design to interactive multimedia and web authoring. Jack is one of a select few who is an Adobe certified Expert in Adobe After Effects. While proficiency with today's digital tools is important, he considers creativity and problem solving skills to be a designer's most valuable tools. He has taken After Effects to the next level by integrating it with popular video editing software programs. He has joined forces with GeniusDV to share his extraordinary knolwedge with students that attend After Effects training classes.

         <title>Derrick Freeman</title>
         <description><![CDATA[<img src="../images/DFsmaller.jpg" width="120" height="120" hspace="5" vspace="5" align="left">Derrick Freeman earned a Bachelor's Degree in Communication from DePauw University in Greencastle, Indiana. He started his career at WHIO TV as an Editor and Technical Director for the cable news operation. Derrick has 12 years of experience in video production, 10 years of videography experience and 9 years of experience as a non-linear editor. He has been compressing video for 8 years and has spent the last 7 years researching streaming media. Derrick was an instructor in the Design Department at Sinclair Community College in Dayton, Ohio for 5 years. He taught Computer Basics for Mac, Digital Video and a Interactive Digital Theory.

In addition, he managed the website for the City of Dayton Television Network's Video Streaming Channels for 4 years. Their streaming channels were featured in Sorenson Media's on-line video showcase at www.sorensonmedia.com. Currently, Derrick works for GeniusDV managing the Streaming and Compression Division where he provides training and consulting services for Video Streaming and Compression. He has been a speaker for the WEVA Expo discussing video streaming and compression. He works with video compression tools such as: Episode, Sorenson Squeeze Compression Suite, Flip4Mac, Compressor and others. Derrick is a beta tester for Sorenson Media and Telestream desktop compression tools.  He also writes product reviews and tutorials for "Studio Monthly" magazine and provides encoding tips for Sorenson Media's e-newsletter.  In addition, Derrick is the co-host for the Streaming Media series for the DV Show Podcast. ]]></description>

         <title>Mickey Hough</title>

Mickey Hough is the cinematographer, editor, producer, and does all of the composting work on the nationally syndicated show, The Angler's Experience, which airs 4 times per week, 52 weeks per year on FOX and The Sportsman Channel. He has produced commercials for FOX, Sportsman Channel and other affiliate national broadcast stations. He has kept up with the latest technology by making the move to all High-Definition production for the 2006 season and beyond. Mickey produced the very successful 'Drop-Shot Secrets Revealed'  DVD, released December 2005. He is hands on with Avid, After Effects, Encore DVD, and Photoshop on a daily basis. 
In addition to his broadcast production, Mickey is a certified K-12 Washington state teacher and serves as a trainer and content writer for GeniusDV. His content contains hundreds of published tutorials, and tips that relate to the Avid Xpress and Media Composer product line. His daily syndicated content is read by thousands of unique visitors each month.]]></description>

         <title>Paul Sulsky</title>
         <description>Paul Sulsky

Paul Sulsky studied film and video at Towson University. His company, Solar Software LLC creates multimedia media content for interactive web sites. He also films, writes, produces and edits short films for Paragon Productions in Baltimore, Maryland. He has worked on several independent feature films and has been a member of the Lapadula script writing group, headquartered at Johns Hopkins University, for the last three years. 

Paul is a certified user for Apple&apos;s Final Cut Pro, and DVD Studio Pro.  He also teaches other video editing software applications including Adobe Premiere and Avid Media Composer.  He is also a Hewlett Packard Developer &amp; Solution Partner. His teaching credits include The Workshops at Rockport College in Maine, GeniusDV and Henninger media.</description>

         <title>Jeff Fortune</title>

Jeff's real-world production skills (outside of post production) has proven to be invaluable to GeniusDV's clientele. He recently accompanied two students to South Africa to edit and produce a national television show. He also teaches Final Cut Pro, DVD Studio Pro, and Apple Motion.]]></description>

He has worked for numerous national and international HIgh-end clients Telemundo International, Univision , MtvPR, BBC (British Island&apos;s ) ,Sony Records, Universal Records, Co-Existance Studios, Puerto Rico&apos;s Olympic Federation. A television producer for more than 18 years, Bob Hunt began his career in 1990 as a Production Assistant with the award winning kids show "David DTV" on Tampa's ABC Network. He soon found himself not only assisting with every aspect of the show, but also writing and acting as well. In 1997, Bob took a position as a news anchor and reporter at the ABC affiliate in Kirksville, Missouri. One year later, Bob moved backed to the Tampa are to report for the 24 hours news station, Bay News 9. Covering the Polk County area for more than 4 years, Bob's passion to be more creative with his talents took him behind the scenes again to produce award-winning commercials for Bright House Networks, the parent company to Bay News 9. Two years later, Bob took all of his talents and created his own production company, BH Productions. Which aside from producing commercials, documentaries and specialized video presentations, Bob has been in front of the camera with Home Shopping Network selling electronics, he is constantly creating and producing Product Demonstrations for companies who are turning towards video based websites and he also has a huge passion for Disc Golf, as well as Ball Golf. A TV show and website are in the works, GO GOLFING! Besides always carrying a video and still camera or some kind of electronic device, he spends his free time, quality time that is, with Renee and their two young boys, Keslen, 4 and Jaden, 2, mostly at the many theme parks in Florida – "With vide camera in hand, I can't wait to explore the world with them and document the amazing things this world has to offer" ]]></description>

He's an experienced design freelancer whose passion and expertise for digital signage, visual effects, video editing and motion graphics has attracted many high profile clients. He has done work for Wendy's, Home Depot, MGM Grand, The Blue Angels, The Ohio State University and many others. </p><p><br /></p><p>Kevin's spends most of his free time designing tools that assist in visual effects. Camera cranes, cyc walls and multi-axis motion control rigs are just a few of the tricks up this sleeve. </p><p><br /></p><p>Kevin's technical background helped him enter the exponentially growing niche market of digital signage. Where he leverages the power of After Effects and Flash to create stunning content for digital displays in stadiums, outdoor lifestyle malls, fast food chains, and corporate offices. Kevin was recently contracted to aid in the design of the world's largest mobile digital signage system which is sits on a 55 ft long tractor trailer. </p><p><br /></p><p>Kevin is an expert at Adobe After Effects and whether you're just getting acquainted with the program or you're ready to dive into expert techniques like coding with expressions or interfacing with your 3D pipeline he can lend a hand. </p><div><br /></div></p>]]></description>
